A Celebration of the Life of Amber Dubois (1994-2009)

A sign for the missing Amber Dubois is displayed in front of Escondido High School where she was last seen walking over a year ago.

Hundreds gathered for the public ceremony at Escondido High School on March 28, 2010 to celebrate the life of Amber Dubois. The remains of her body were found three works earlier in a remote area of the Pala Indian Reservation.

It was an emotional day during the ceremony held for Amber Dubois on Saturday March 28th.

Doves were released during the ceremony on Saturday as a tribute to the four girls who had gone missing and been found murdered in southern California: Polly Klaas, Danielle Van Dam, Chelsea King and Amber Dubois.

Flowers, candles and signs were left in front of the gates of Escondido High School where Amber Dubois attended school as a freshman.
